A: Gluten is a general name for the proteins found in wheat (wheatberries, durum, emmer, semolina, spelt, farina, farro, graham, KAMUT® khorasan wheat and einkorn), rye and barley.

A: Gluten free is a wheat free way of baking that replaces bleached white flour with nutritious whole grains. These foods are more easily digested by those who are gluten sensitive, intolerant or allergic. Even people without these restrictions can benefit from a reduced gluten diet.

A Yes. We are a strictly gluten free bakery and maintain a completely gluten free kitchen. We focus on using high quality ingredients because taste matters. Once you try Spooky’s you may never go back to your old glutinous ways.
Q: Are you certified gluten free?
A: No, although we work with only gluten free ingredients and have a completely no gluten kitchen we are not certified.
